02. How does it Work for the RECRUITER
and CANDIDATE.
RECRUITERS
Example: Your operation requires Captains for
the A320. Your hiring criteria is 2000 hrs Total Jet Time
greater then MTOW of 44,000 Lbs, 5000 hrs Total Time, and
500 Hrs as Captain on the A320. FAA and MOT Licenses only.
Candidates must also speak French and have a Post Secondary
Education. Your preferences is given to Check Airmen.
As the Recruiter you log into OHRS with Administrator privileges
and set the above criteria for a search. The search is saved
as (example) A320-P1/YYZ/2008JAN - this is also the Job Reference.
You can now place the Job Reference on the HR section of
your web site and candidates can apply. Many candidates will
apply that do not meet the hiring criteria you set - but
OHRS will only report the Candidates that meet the above
hiring criteria. Non qualified candidates will remain in
the database.
CANDIDATES
Candidates simply register into OHRS. They receive a username
and password and fill out a very detailed application form.
Candidates can update their file at any time from anywhere
there is an internet connection.
Information such as License expire Dates or sensitive data
such as passport information can all be completed when required
or upon being hired. Such information can be used by HR to
stay up to date with Medical/License and Passport expiry
dates.
