01. What is OHRS.

OHRS stands for ONLINE HUMAN RESOURCSE SYSTEM. OHRS is an online database designed for the human resource sector to safe time, resources and money to find the right and qualified personnel for your operation.

 

OHRS was exclusively designed by HCL and it holds any and all proprietary, intellectual and copy rights.

 

02. How does it Work for the RECRUITER and CANDIDATE.

RECRUITERS

Example: Your operation requires Captains for the A320. Your hiring criteria is 2000 hrs Total Jet Time greater then MTOW of 44,000 Lbs, 5000 hrs Total Time, and 500 Hrs as Captain on the A320. FAA and MOT Licenses only. Candidates must also speak French and have a Post Secondary Education. Your preferences is given to Check Airmen.

As the Recruiter you log into OHRS with Administrator privileges and set the above criteria for a search. The search is saved as (example) A320-P1/YYZ/2008JAN - this is also the Job Reference.

You can now place the Job Reference on the HR section of your web site and candidates can apply. Many candidates will apply that do not meet the hiring criteria you set - but OHRS will only report the Candidates that meet the above hiring criteria. Non qualified candidates will remain in the database.

 

CANDIDATES

Candidates simply register into OHRS. They receive a username and password and fill out a very detailed application form. Candidates can update their file at any time from anywhere there is an internet connection.

Information such as License expire Dates or sensitive data such as passport information can all be completed when required or upon being hired. Such information can be used by HR to stay up to date with Medical/License and Passport expiry dates.

 

03. If we are not recruiting - how can OHRS work for us?

If you are not in recruitment mode - you can allow Candidates to apply by department from your HR section of your web site

All you need to do - when there is a recruitment demand - is to set a search criteria and OHRS will find exactly what you are looking for!

04. How do we contact Candidates?

OHRS comes with a feature called the EBS. Electronic Broadcast System.

When you are ready to recruit, you can instantly e-mail the entire OHRS database. At HCL we give specific instructions in the EBS.

Example: HCL is accepting applications for B757 F/O, Pursers and Sim Instructors. Please apply through the following Job References: B757-P2, B757-PUR, B757-SIM. Job Description details can be found on our HR Page at ........... Please do not reply to this e-mail, we will contact you should you meet our hiring criteria.

The EBS also allows specific groups you have created in OHRS. You can, by example, notify a group of candidates you have selected to advise them of an Interview Date and to reply to xyz to confirm.

 

05. Can we sort Candidates progressively?

YES. Lets continue to work with the example from #2.

OHRS will report to you all Candidates to meet your search criteria. Now you may be ready to filter this report and start contacting Candidates.

You can create Groups in OHRS and notify any candidates in those groups via the EBS.

Groups you create (example): "Interview 1 Sched" followed by "Interview 1 Passed".

ALL THIS WITH THE CLICK OF A MOUSE.

06. What platform will OHRS run on?

OHRS is a .php Platform and will run on:

Windows
Mac
Linux

07. Is OHRS proven?

YES.

OHRS is the backbone to HCL Recruitment for its Aerospace and future Maritime HR Departments.

Other HCL Clients have utilized OHRS without purchasing. These Clients either hired direct from HCL or through contract. A Username & Password was given to our Clients so they where able to become interactive in the selection of crews. They where also able to post notes on candidates files.

Former JETSGO Airlines used OHRS for both Cabin and Flight Crews as there sole HR system - with great success and savings. They only placed one National Advert and a HR notice on their web site. This created enough response and 'rumors' that in subsequent years no additional advertising cost where necessary.

08. How is OHRS available and is it Customizable?

OHRS is a second tier software and is fully customizable to ANY INDUSTRY.

OHRS can be purchased outright for $18,888.00 or can be leased on a mutually agreed upon term and price - with our objective being - that it must save you're HR department time and money.

09. Is OHRS interactive and does it support Multiple Users?

YES.

Many users can log into OHRS at the same time.

One advantage is that an Interviewer can write notes on the Candidate's file, once saved - the next interviewer or HR Manager can read these notes - and make additional comments on the same file.

10. Industry Applications

Currently OHRS is formatted for the Airline Industry with HR for Flight Crews, Cabin Crews, Dispatchers and Corporate/Office.

OHRS can be modified and tailored to ANY INDUSTRY including HR for CRUISE LINES and the TOURSIST SERVICE INDUSTRY.
